How does denture stabilisation work?
To stabilise your dentures, we use 4 – 6 dental implants per arch to create a strong anchor. Dental implants are small titanium screws that are placed in the jaw where they fuse with the bone. Once healed, an abutment is placed on top of the implant and this will hold your chosen attachment. Magnetic attachments allow for removable dentures, while screws can provide a fixed solution.

Who is a good candidate for denture stabilisation?
For denture implants to be successful, you will need to have sufficient bone density. If you don’t have sufficient bone density, don’t worry. There is the option to use bone grafting to build up the volume in your jaw. You should also be in good overall health, a non-smoker and willing to take good care of your dentures. We will outline the procedure and aftercare requirements during your consultation.
